Charity is at the core of SWA. With the income from our membership fees, and through generous donations from Scandinavian or local companies and private individuals, we are able to help some of the disadvantaged people in Singapore. Read more about the charity cases that SWA supports below.

The Breadline Group

The Breadline Group is a community service dedicated to supporting vulnerable families across the island. At SWA we currently financially support two young families here in Singapore, visiting them on a monthly basis. We have been supporting Richard and his team at The Breadline Group for a number of years.

The Tent

The Tent is a place of refuge and support for vulnerable girls. Monetary support from SWA goes towards treats for the girls, such as trips to the cinema, snacks and pocket money. We have been supporting The Tent for a long time, and we think they do amazing work.

Boys' Town

Boys' Town provides vital services such as education, housing and therapy for boys up to the age of 18 who are facing challenges. At SWA we currently help to support the organisation financially, but we are looking into ways to further strengthen our relationship. We have been working with Boys' Town for about a year.

Every year we offer one or two scholarships to polytechnic students. Typically, these are awarded to students who have demonstrated high potential who would not otherwise have the financial resources to pursue higher education.
